Julie F. E. Neil resides in Springdale, Arkansas with her extended family, friends and 3 dogs: Daisy, Roy and Dori.
Ms. Neil arrended the University of Arkansas and LeTourneau University earning her bachelor's degree in Business Management. She has been in healthcare information technology for the last 25 years. She attends all possible Razorback sporting events and makes writing a dedicated and important part or her life.
The story of Renny in The Locket Spirit is loosely based on Ms. Neil's own experiences and interests. In 2005, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer at the age of 39 while living in London. After completing the year-long treatment, she looked for an opportunity to bring the issues of colorectal cancer into the public eye by shedding some light on an embarrassing topic.
